• Multi-instrumentalist tutor for Piano and Guitar

• Step into an established student load

• Must be available:

  • Monday 3:00 - 6:30 (option to extend hours)

  • Tuesday 3:00 - 6:30 (option to extend hours)

  • Wednesday afternoon from 2:30pm onwards

• Thursday afternoon availability is also desirable but not essential

HOW YOU WILL CHANGE THE GAME:

As an instrument music tutor at West Coast Music School you will:

1. Guide students of various skill levels and ages through their personalised and tailored music journey;

2. Create and execute inspiring, engaging and interactive lesson plans using innovative and outcome oriented teaching methods;

3. Work within a close-knit team to constantly improve the music education we provide;

4. Engage in goal setting to ensure progress and growth in both your students and yourself;

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

1. The ability to critically think whilst conducting lessons, and use this to guide your tailored approach to each individual student;

2. Have excellent communication skills - keeping everyone in the loop at all times;

3. Being on the ball and aware of what is going on at all times - don’t let anyone fall through the cracks;

4. Being comfortable in thinking outside the box when it comes to your teaching; and

5. Tutoring experience is desirable but not always a necessity. You must be able to demonstrate a passion for education and music, as well as clear aptitude for you given instrument.
