  • Little KeyNotes

    5 - 7 Years

    Our program is designed to captivate the young minds of 5-7 year-olds. Through singing, creating, playing, and reading, we make the journey of learning the piano an exciting and interactive experience.

    In Little KeyNotes, we believe in fostering creativity. Our innovative approach integrates musical concepts like pitch and dynamics with familiar themes such as farm animals, weather, and sea creatures. Each themed workbook transforms learning into a captivating journey.

  • Group instrumental lessons are available for 5 -11 year olds.

    Classes are split into the following age ranges:

    • 5 - 7 years

    • 7 - 9 years

    • 9 - 11 years

    If your child is an absolute beginner with no previous music experience, please look at the following programs first:

  • We welcome everyone, from absolute beginners to advanced musicians. Our group lesson curriculum is designed to meet each student at their current skill level and progress from there.

    This means that each class will have a range of skill levels (much like a sports class), allowing for an exciting and robust learning environment.

  • Each month follows the same general structure:

    WEEK 1: Group Instrumental Lesson
    WEEK 2: Group Instrumental Lesson
    WEEK 3: Group Instrumental Lesson
    WEEK 4: Group Musicians Session (GMS) *

    * GMS are 60 minutes long and are larger group sessions comprising on 10-12 students. It’s during these classes that your child will explore skills in performance, songwriting, jamming + more. These classes are always scheduled to align with your regular lesson time.

    In months that extend to 5 weeks long, enjoy an additional group instrumental lesson on us.

  • Our Group Musicianship Sessions (GMS) are a unique aspect of our instrumental lessons program.

    In the last week of select months, students come together for a 60-minute session that goes beyond instrument mastery.

    Students explore performance skills, stage skills, songwriting, and collaborate with other musicians. It's an opportunity to broaden your music skills and interact with fellow students.

  • No. We offer month-to-month enrolment, providing flexibility and convenience. You are not locked into long-term commitments, and you can start at any time and cancel at any time. This allows you to tailor your lessons to your schedule and preferences

  • Lessons & Activities continue all year round to ensure continuous learning for all students.

    If you would like to take time off during school holidays, simply cancel and reschedule those lessons for when it suits you.

    It is worth noting that we do take regular breaks throughout the year during ‘event weeks’, allowing students to have a short break from their regular lessons.

  • We do offer private lessons only through our ‘Solo Pathway’. For more information on this, please email hello@westcoastmusic.com.au

  • Yes! In addition to our in-studio lessons at 16 Morris Pl Innaloo, you can opt to have your group lessons by tuning in via zoom each week.
