Kiara, our Head Singing Mentor, is the comforting embrace that welcomes you to the WCMS community and guides you through your musical journey.

In her role as the Head Singing Mentor, Kiara draws upon her extensive teaching experience and expertise in music education. With a Cert IV in Musical Theatre and a decade of teaching under her belt, Kiara specializes in mentoring students, particularly those dealing with challenges such as depression, anxiety, and other neurodiversities.

She's not just a mentor; she's your dedicated ally in your musical and personal growth.

She/Her

Indigo is a spirited and easy-going singer who holds an Advanced Diploma in Music Performance. Her infectious energy and enthusiasm are evident in her approach to teaching, creating consistently inspiring, judgement-free, and engaging learning environments for her students.

Indigo has a special talent for working with nervous singers, dedicating herself to ensuring that every student feels safe, secure, and comfortable during each lesson. Her deep passion lies in building confidence in her students while instilling a genuine love for their unique voices. With Indigo as your mentor, you'll embark on a singing journey filled with positivity, encouragement, and the freedom to express yourself authentically.

Marie's musical journey extends beyond teaching. She brings a rich history of singing in bands and a multi-instrumentalist background, adding real-world depth to her lessons.

Her industry experience offers a unique perspective to her students, making their musical journeys even more engaging. Beyond her musical prowess, Marie excels in working with students of all ages who have neurodiversities, ensuring that her teaching environments are not just safe but also empowering.

At WCMS, it's about fostering an inclusive and inspiring community where everyone can thrive in their musical pursuits, guided by a mentor who knows the industry inside out.

He/Him

Singing from the age of 4, Logan has been a music lover since he could talk.

With a wide range of experience in different styles from classical, musical theatre, and jazz all the way through contemporary pop and rock, Logan can provide knowledge for students no matter where they want to go artistically. With a practical approach, emphasising on artistic expression, Logan aims to teach his students that musical theory and technique make up a crucial but small part of singing, and encourages his students to be individuals and allow their own feelings and experiences to help find their own voice.

Having completed an advanced diploma of music from WAAPA in 2022 majoring in vocal performance and songwriting, and with years of performing experience under his belt, Logan is eager to pass on what he knows and help others become their own artist with a down-to-earth, fun loving attitude.

She/Her

With nearly 10 years of experience on the piano, Alex is trained in both classical and contemporary music. She started singing and writing her own songs 2 years ago, and regularly performs them in venues around Perth.

She believes in fostering a supportive learning environment where students can explore their creativity and develop their unique musical voice.

As a music tutor, Alex customises her lessons to align with the aspirations and capabilities of each student, providing tailored instructions and feedback. Whether it's mastering a challenging classical piece or delving into songwriting, she encourages her students to unlock their musical potential.

Alex is has completed a certificate III in music performance and is currently studying a bachelor of music in contemporary vocals at WAAPA.
