Getting Started with Mini Musos: 5 Things You Need to Know

There’s no doubt that pre-school music classes offer a mountain of holistic benefits for children. However, before you dive in, we suggest familiarising yourself with these five key ‘things to know’ before starting Mini Musos with us….

ONE: LESSON CONFIRMATION

24 hours before your lesson, you’ll receive a reminder email from us, outlining all the ‘need-to-know’ information to help you prepare for your very first Mini Musos lesson!

TWO: WHERE TO FIND US?

Did you know we are located right next to the IGA at Morris Place shops in Innaloo? With plenty of shaded parking available, you can find us at 16 Morris Place. We are the building with the orange signage—please don’t confuse us with WA Music Co, who have dark blue signage. If you end up at WA Music Co, their friendly team will be more than happy to direct you to us.

THREE: WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU ARRIVE

When you arrive, please make yourself at home in our studio reception. Your mentor will call you into our Collaboration Room (with the bright orange door) when it’s time for your lesson to begin. If your child feels a bit peckish before their lesson, they are welcome to help themselves to a complimentary snack at our snack station in the practice hall.

FOUR: FULLY RELAX WHILE YOUR CHILD FLOURISHES

During your child’s lesson, you can take full advantage of our parents' oasis in Reception. With a calming scented candle to soothe your nerves, complimentary tea or coffee, and gentle music playing in the background, you can unwind in one of our comfy chairs and take a moment for yourself. You can also make use of our complimentary Wi-Fi if you need to catch up on work.

FIVE: YOUR MINI MUSOS WORKBOOK

In your child’s first lesson, they will receive their very own custom Mini Musos workbook, which will guide them through their lessons. This is also a fantastic resource for parents to see exactly what has been covered in class and what exciting developments and progress markers are ahead! Your child will also receive a special surprise gift in their first lesson!

BONUS: DON’T FORGET TO COMPLETE YOUR TRIAL CARD

If your child is having a trial lesson, remember to complete the trial card your mentor provides at the start of the lesson and leave it in the clearly marked trial lesson box on our reception table. This will streamline your experience and feedback and provide us with the information we need if you wish to continue with lessons.
