Why Parents Love Mini Musos

Have you heard about the Mini Musos program?

We are the only music studio in Perth to offer this engaging and nurturing group music curriculum to children aged 4 - 6 years old. In just one year, your little one will holistically explore music through four inspiring themes.

But what else makes this program so popular?

Here are 5 reasons why parents, grandparents and guardians LOVE the Mini Musos Program:

Engaging Curriculum

See your little one flourish as they explore music through four exciting themes:

  1. Space 🚀

  2. Island Jungle 🌴

  3. Dinosaurs 🦖

  4. My Musical Life 🎵

Each theme lasts for three months and has been crafted to lay the groundwork for future musical development and a long-lasting love for music.

Cultural Exploration & Holistic Development

Each theme ignites our youngest musicians' cultural curiosity by providing guided exploration of many genres and cultural celebrations through music.

An underpinning element of the Mini Musos curriculum is to not only build foundational musical skills, but also to help build up confident, creative, and wonderful little humans who appreciate the diversity in the world we live in.

Joyous Celebrations

What makes this program so unique are all the little moments of celebration that occur throughout the year. One of my personal highlights includes the Drum Stick Dipping Ceremony that happens at the end of each theme.

It’s like its own mini graduation where students celebrate all they have achieved by having their very own Jackson Pollock moment! They come together in the last lesson of the quarter and throw paint all over a canvas using a pair of drum sticks.

Each theme has its own unique colour associated with it, and we always display each class's canvases in the studio as a reminder of all the progress that has occurred.

Performance Opportunities

There is nothing more rewarding than seeing our little rockstars on stage! That’s why we provide two performance opportunities for our Mini Musos students to perform each year. Each event has a different vibe to complement your little one’s personality and confidence.

  • Spring Tones 🌸 - A chilled-out picnic-style concert in August at Hyde Park. This is the perfect gentle introduction to the world of performance without the pressure.

  • Showcase ✨ - This is the biggest event of the year in the WCMS calendar! Held at Planet Royale, your little one will have the full rockstar experience of sharing the stage with their music buddies and performing in front of an audience.

Family Friendly Flexible Scheduling

Let’s be honest, life isn’t like the movies… especially when you have a young family! That’s why I’ve been so focused on providing a flexible scheduling approach for parents that actually FITS with their lifestyle - not fights with it.

We are the only studio to not lock you in for a term at a time, providing more manageable month-long enrolment periods instead.

We also will happily allow you to cancel and reschedule your lessons if you can’t make it. You don’t even need to give us 24 hours’ notice (because when do we actually have a full 24 hours’ notice that the wheels are going to fall off??).

These are just 5 of the 17 things parents love about Mini Musos.
