Mini Musos: More than Just Music

Today we wrap up our August Blog Series for Mini Musos - and what’s better than finishing off with three extra special highlights that occur alongside your child’s musical development.

As you (might) know, Mini Musos is an expertly crafted group music curriculum for children aged 4-6 years old, and West Coast Music School is the only music studio in Australia to offer this incredible program.

But did you know that your little one will also get to experience the following three exciting things in the Mini Musos program?

The Hand Print Wall

In your child’s first lesson, they will have the opportunity to join the hands of all the wonderful musicians that make up the WCMS community! Your little one’s hand will join the handprint mural which lines our practice hall, reminding them of the community that surrounds and supports them.

Polaroid Photoshoots

As your child navigates their Mini Musos journey, they will reach exciting milestones that will be captured in these special Polaroid photoshoots! Their favourite part is adding their photo to one of our many photo walls, eternalising their achievements and serving as a reminder of how far they have come.

Graduation Gala

When your little one finishes all four Musical Exploration Themes in the Mini Musos Program (which takes approximately one year), they will be invited to graduate from the programme at our most exquisite event of the year: The Graduation Gala.

Held at Downstairs at the Maj, the Graduation Gala is an elevated event for our community with plenty of incredible performances from our mentors and most advanced students (with drinks and nibbles provided).

The award ceremony part of the Gala is where your little one will be invited up on stage to receive their Mini Musos Graduation Certificate and Medal!
